Meet the Team

Alexis Lewis
DIRECTOR OF RESIDENT PROGRAMS

Alexis Lewis serves as the Resident Programs Coordinator. She is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with community, government and educational organizations to provide high quality programs and services for the residents living in our communities. Her focus is to enhance the quality of life of our families.

Some of the partnerships that Alexis has successfully developed include GREAT Families (MNPD), Boy Scouts, Book 'em, TN Commission on Aging, Literacy Academy, Goodwill Career Solutions, Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE), Family & Children's Services, Bradley County Health Department, Project AWARE, Barnabas Vision, Greenhouse Ministries, Regions Bank, Tennessee State University and UT Agricultural Extension Service. The types of programs these partners provide include nutrition and cooking classes, youth mentoring, youth and adult literacy, job readiness, health and wellness classes, personal finance classes and youth afterschool programming.

With over 20 years of involvement in the non-profit community, some of her past work experience includes serving as the VP of Membership & Marketing at Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, Program Director at YWCA of Middle Tennessee and Cultural Enrichment Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Franklin. Alexis received a Bachelor's degree in both Human & Organizational Development and Sociology from Vanderbilt University. She and her husband, Dwayne, reside in Nashville and have two daughters and three sons.
