Mr. King partnered with Mr. Joseph Torrence to form Highmark Holdings, LLC in June 2006 after four and a half years as a Vice President and originator at GMAC Commercial Holding Capital Corp's Affordable Housing Division (“GMAC”). During that time, he originated 30 transactions totaling over $400 million in loan proceeds on multifamily affordable housing debt transactions involving tax-exempt bonds and/or Low Income Housing Tax Credits.

Highmark Holdings, LLC is a Nashville, Tennessee based developer and sponsor of multifamily affordable housing, specializing in developments which qualify for Low Income Housing Tax Credits and tax-exempt bond financing.

Since 2007, Highmark Holdings, LLC sponsored entities have purchased nine apartment communities, seven of which are located in the Greater Nashville area, totaling 1,576 units. All nine acquisitions were financed with tax-exempt bonds and 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits. As sponsor of the Developer entities, Highmark Holdings, LLC has overseen or is currently overseeing renovations to these communities in excess of $28.5 million.

Mr. King partnered with Glynda Shamwell to form Enfield Management Company, LLC in 2013 to manage the multifamily assets owned by him and by Highmark Holdings, LLC, in addition to pursuing other multifamily management opportunities.

Mr. King was recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as a 2014 Forty Under 40 Honoree. He is a board member with the Martha O'Bryan Center, and a member of the MLS2Nashville Committee.He is married, a father of five and a resident of Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997 with a B.A. degree in Economics.

Being a fair housing advocate, Enfield Management stresses continuing education for its employees to ensure compliance with the Federal Fair Housing Act and the Uniform Landlord Tenant Act where applicable. The firm and its staff are members of the Greater Nashville Apartment Association, the Tennessee Association of Affordable Housing and the Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association.
